[vc_row][vc_column][vc_wp_text]Hie Readers,
I am going to start with something I came across day before yesterday. It was a two-page ad on inshorts app.
It instantly took me to an evening where I was sitting next to Dr. Saumil in our clinic with parents who came in for consultation for their 2-year-old daughter. I casually asked the father, which toothpaste you use for your child? And he answered Sensodyne!
This was a very concerned parent trying to give the best care to his 2-year-old. And this is not just once, we come across such incidences more often than we can imagine.
So, here is some information I gathered from the official website.[/vc_wp_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″]

Know the Feeling?” alignment=”left”][/ultimate_heading][ultimate_spacer height=”10″][ultimate_spacer height=”10″][vc_wp_text]Website: Know the feeling (in ad) refers to Sensitive Teeth or Dentinal Hypersensitivity.Me: Dental pain and sensitive teeth can have other causes such as tooth decay, fractured teeth, root exposure, gum diseases etc.
[/vc_wp_text][ultimate_spacer height=”30″][ultimate_heading main_heading=”2. What should you do in case of sensitive teeth?” alignment=”left”][/ultimate_heading][ultimate_spacer height=”10″]
[ultimate_spacer height=”10″][vc_wp_text]Website: Only a dentist can confirm if you have dentinal hypersensitivity.Me: Agreed!
[/vc_wp_text][ultimate_spacer height=”30″][ultimate_heading main_heading=”3. What do they recommend?” alignment=”left”][/ultimate_heading][ultimate_spacer height=”10″]
[ultimate_spacer height=”10″][vc_wp_text]Website: We recommend that you visit your dentist every x months for regular dental check ups. If you experience any dental pain or discomfort, seek dental advice as soon as possible.
Note – tooth sensitivity is unusual in children under 12 years of age. If you are concerned about your child’s teeth, please consult a dentist for advice.
Me: Agreed![/vc_wp_text][ultimate_spacer height=”30″][ultimate_heading main_heading=”4. Can we use Sensodyne for a 2-year-old child?” alignment=”left”][/ultimate_heading][ultimate_spacer height=”10″]
[ultimate_spacer height=”10″][vc_wp_text]Website: Sensodyne® toothpaste is not recommended for use by children under the age of 12. Sensitivity is rarely a problem in children that young. Check with your child’s dentist for appropriate advice and recommendation.
Me: Agreed!
In summary, I find the website really informative. I would request all my readers to check out the information about the products you use, especially when it is for your little ones.[/vc_wp_text][ultimate_heading alignment=”left”]
